I know it has been way to long since i have updated my blog. I don't know how some of you do it? I feel like sometimes between life, being a mom, wife, and my job there is no time in the day for one more thing. I really am so impressed with people who can do it all:) I'm back now and i'm going to try and do much better and not go so long again.

We took Leo bowling for his first time a couple of weeks ago. He did pretty good. He loved rolling it down the ramp. It was fun watching him and the look on his face. I think the best Rhett and I both did is when we let Leo bowl for us instead. Were not the most talented family when it comes to bowling, we'll just leave it at that :)

Bubble Bath Time

Bath time is Leo's favorite time of the day! He is just like me:) He loves relaxing, playing, and splashing in the hot water. We usually will blow bubbles while he is in the tub. It is so cute. He will use his finger and everytime he touches one he will say "POP" and then laugh. I have to say that i LOVE snuggling him and kissing him when he is out of the tub all clean with lotion on and his cute footie pj's. I look forward to it every single night

Sweet Baby Alivia

My little sister Ari had her beautiful baby girl on 08/29/10. They named her Alivia Joy Rowland. She is seriously one of the most beautiful babies i have ever seen. My middle name is Joy after my Grandma Joyce. I love that i get to share my name with her. My family and I drove up to Idaho that morning and got to be there when she made her grand enterance. I'm so excited for Ari and Andy to get to experience parenthood. It is the hardest most rewarding job there is. I'm so in love with this new little girl. I can't wait to watch her grow and I love that Leo has a new little cousin to play with. Oh my...did i mentionn she has the cutest chubby cheeks. I wanna kiss them all day long:)

Good Bye Summer

We had such a fun summer! I can't believe that it's over and fall is here. We loved going swimming with our family, riding on the boat, and watching fireworks and parades. We also had a few fun trips to the Zoo! Leo loved seeing all of the animals. I wish i would have been better about getting my camera out and taking more pictures but i did get a few:)

Leo turned 1 on the fourth of July! I'll i can say is we had a HUGE birthday bash! It was so much fun! We had tons of friends and family that came up to help us celebrate! We had a BBQ at the park by our house. We rented blow up houses/slides for the kids to play on, had tons of yummy food, and had fireworks to end the day! Leo LOVED his cake! It was so funny watching him eat it:) He seriously could'nt get it in his mouth fast enough!

Dear Leo Man,

I can't believe how fast one year flew by. Your dad and I love you more than words can say. You are so smart and funny. We love to watch you learn and discover new things all the time. You have such a funny personality. You are VERY independent and like to figure things out by yourself. You started walking around 9 1/2 months so by the time your birthday came around you were running all over the place. You LOVE your dad and follow him everywhere. You also really LOVE his mustang! We put you in the drivers seat and you pretend your driving while honking the horn. You get very mad when we try to take you out. You are also a very good eater. You love pretty much everything. You also really like Elmo and could watch it for a long time. You love to dance, your favortie song is Intergalactic (Beastie Boys)! I love coming in and getting you out of your crib in the mornings. You always have a huge smile on your face and are ready to run in and out of every room when i put you down. I love your excitment for life! We couldn't imagine our life without you! I know i haven't updated my blog in a long time and am really going to do that soon. So much has happened in the past few months but first I feel that i need to share this amazing story. I have never met Patrick or Ashley but have followed their blog from time to time through one of my friends. What an incredible family. They have been through such heartache and such a difficult time in the last few weeks.

I know this is pretty personal and i really don't share to many feeling like this on my blog but i feel like it is something i need to get out. I wish i could write and tell you that i have always been completely sure about what i believe and that i have never felt lost or questioned anything about the church but i can't. It is something that i have stuggled with from time to time. At times i feel like nothing can break what i believe and other times i feel so lost and vulnerable. As i have been reading Patrick and Ashleys blog the past little while it has strengthened me in more ways then i can ever express. I KNOW without a doubt that families can be together forever and that there is life after death. What an amazing gift we have been given. How truly special that we can be sealed to our families in the temple. I know they will be with their beautiful little Preslee again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story. As i have been reading i have hugged and kissed my baby so much more and at the end of the day when i feel i can't go on i remember what an amazing gift i have been given to be a mother and to get to share those moments with my little boy. I think motherhood is the most sacred calling and gift from our Heavenly father. He puts so much trust in our hands to teach these little ones and raise them. I took this quote from Ashley and Patricks blog i LOVE it!

Thank you again for sharing your experience with me. I feel like it is something i needed in my life and something i will never forget. I know Preslee is in our Father in heavens arms right now and that she will be your special little angel until you can be with her again.

I am so proud of Rhett. He graduated with his Masters degree from the U of U this month. He graduated with his MBA. He is so smart and is such a hard worker. What a huge accomplishment! I feel so lucky to have him for my husband. On top of everything else he is the best dad in the world. Leo and I love you so much and couldn't be more proud! Thank you to all of our family who came to the graduation. We sure love all of you guys!

I'm trying to play catch up since it has been a while since i've last blogged. I figured that i really need to stop putting it off because i'm getting so behind. A lot has happened in just the last couple of months! Leo is now 9 months (close to 10)He is at such a fun age i LOVE it! He is so dang cute! Check out those cheeks and those chubby legs...oh my gosh i'm in love :) I just wanna squeeze him all day long! Here are some fun things about leo man:

Gardner Village

We had a really fun girls day at Gardner Village a couple of weeks ago. We took the little ones to the petting zoo and then had lunch and did some shopping. It was such a fun day. I love that place! They have the cutest little shops and Leo was loving being outside. I really like that it's not that far from our house. I think we might just have to spend a lot of time there this summer.

Easter

Easter was so much fun this year. Seeing Leo looking at his Easter basket made Rhett and I have the biggest smile! He loved it! The Easter bunny left him some of his favorite baby treats along with some new tub toys and some bubbles. That afternoon we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Mason's for a fun easter egg hunt. Leo didn't really care to much but he sure loved chewing on his easter basket :)

I know in almost every one of my post i always write how i can't believe how fast time goes by, but it is so true. I was looking through some pictures of when Leo was just born and still in the hospital and looking at pictures of him now. I can't believe how quick they change in just a few months. Leo was born on the 4th of July so he will be 8 months next week....so crazy! Tonight as i type this i just feel so blessed. I'm so grateful that i get to be a mom and raise this sweet little boy. I love you my little baby monster! I also have to add that i have the best husband in the world. I love our little family.

What? My baby is 7 months

Okay, really these past few months have gone by way to fast. Leo just turned 7 months. We took him to the doctor a little while ago and he now weighs a whoopin 19 1\2 pounds ( my little butterball) he is in the 75% for weight and is in the 90% for height. He is a very healthy baby. Here are some things about our love bug that i want to remember.

-He is sitting all by himself (has been for a little bit now)

-He has 2 teeth on his bottom (he has 2 more on his bottom and 2 on the top coming through)

-He talks so much. He says da da da da da a lot

-He LOVES sweet potatoes and pears. Those are his favorite at the moment. He really isn't a picky eater but he's not a fan of green beans or peas (must be the color)

-He really likes his bouncer toy

-He loves when you read him books

-He is always trying to get in a standing position. If you grab his hands he will always stand up

-If i say "give me kisses" he will grab my cheeks and give me a big open mouth kiss ( I love when he gives me kisses its so sweet)

-I love to kiss him all day long (who wouldn't want to kiss those adorable chubby cheeks)

-He is such a thinker. You can tell he is always thinking about everything, like he is trying to figure it out.

-He LOVES his daddy. Rhett can always get such a big smile out of him just by looking at him.

-He loves when you sing to him. His favorite song of all time is Give said the little stream. He could be crying and and soon as you start to sing that song his little face lights up. So Cute!

-He now throws little fits when he doesn't get something he wants or if you take something away from him (i think we in trouble)

We just love this little boy so much. He brings so much joy into our family. I can't imagine our life without him.

We celebrated Rhett's birthday on January 29th. It was so fun. We went out with his family to Texas Road House for dinner and then came back to our house for cake and icecream. I had to take a picture of his cake. I think it turned out so good. No, i didn't make it. Thats probably why it looked and tasted so good. haha!

I love Rhett so much. He is my best friend and such a great husband and dad.I really don't know how i got so lucky. Hope you had a great birthday!

Christmas 2009

Wow, I can't believe i haven't posted in two months. I've have been slacking on my blog lately. First off we had a great Christmas! I have decided that having a baby makes everything a lot more fun. We went to my mom and dads Christmas eve party. It was so fun seeing everyone and eating yummy food. My mom always gets us cute PJs to wear that night. I LOVE new pajamas. I really look forward to it every year. After the party we stayed the night at the Masons house. I love that our families live so close to each other and we got to see everyone. Christmas morning was great we spent more time with family and got very spoiled.

Ari suprised us with a late Christmas gift and told us she was pregnant! Our family is so excited. I can't wait to be an aunt and Leo is so excited to have a little cousin to get in troble with. Congrats Ari and Andy!

Also, Sarah and Matt found out they are having a baby boy in June. We were so excited. We love little boys they are so much fun. Mason is going to be a great big brother. We can't wait for summer.

Christmas Tree

This last weekend we put up our Christmas tree but i just finished decorating it today. It's a lot harder to get that done with a baby i've decided :) I love having the lights on at night, it really puts me in the Christmas spirit. Leo also LOVES the lights. He just stares at them. We usually always buy a real tree but they always died early, so this year we decided to get a fake one. We bought a 12 foot tree. It's so tall and i love it. Every night i put a couple of bottles and some formula in Leo's bathroom next to his room. It just makes it easier in the middle of the night to fix him a bottle really quick then to make trips up and down the stairs (yes, i'm lazy) haha! Well the other night Leo woke up around 12:30ish and Rhett went in to get him. I heard him say "hey cass i need you" when i got out of bed and went into the hall Rhett was standing there with Leo and a huge vase full of my favorite flowers (gerber daisies) It was the best suprise ever! I seriously loved it! He told me what a great mom i was and how much him and Leo love me! I have the greatest husband EVER! I love Rhett more than anything. He always treats me so good.

The funniest part was Leo would'nt stop staring at the flowers, i have never seen his eyes go so big! haha! He still gets so excited everytime he looks at them. I sure do love my boys I'm so lucky to have them.

Rhett's new baby!!

A couple of weeks ago Rhett bought this beautiful 1969 Mustang. He loves muscle cars and fell in love with this one! Him and Burke flew to Pheonix to buy it over Halloween weekend. I Love to ride in it! It really is such a fun car. Everywhere you go someone will comment on it, it makes me laugh. It's so nice and is super fast!! We call it the death machine..haha! I love to see Rhett's face whenever he drives it or even talks about it. He gets so excited! I'm so happy he was able to get it :)

Leo has now discovered sucking on his fingers! It is hillarious because he will only suck on his ring finger and his middle finger. It's funny because most babies will choose their thumb to suck on...nope not leo man. He has 2 that he likes and he wont change them. haha!

I love that he does this now because he sleeps so much better at night. He will just suck on his fingers and it puts him back to sleep:) (for a little while anyway)

Leo almost 5 months old! Watching the game!

Here is Mr. Leo watching the Eagles game! After it was over he was so tired he fell asleep while i was holding him. My baby boy is now almost 5 months old. He changes so much all the time. He is so much fun! I love having a little boy. He is such a mommys boy and i love it! Here are some things about Leo at 4 months (almost 5):

-He is sleeping so much better at night now. (i guess it depends on the night) we get him in the tub around 7 and he falls asleep with me rocking him around 7:15. He will usually wake up for a bottle around 2ish and again around 5:30 or 6. He is so good about going right back to sleep. He is usually up for the day around 7:30am.

-He has now found his fingers to suck on! It makes me laugh so hard because he has 2 fingers that he loves and they are the only ones he sucks on (his ring finger and his middle finger)

-We are now trying to give him rice cereal at nights before tub time. He's not quite sure what to think of it. I think its the texture! He makes the funniest faces. I'm sure he will start to like it eventually.

-He still hasn't rolled over but he is going to anyday. He gets so close that all we have to do is just touch him with our finger and he rolls over:)

-He loves to play with toys. He can grab at them and hold them in his hands

-Speaking of grabbing...he loves to grab and pull out my hair! I think i say "let go of mommy's hair" a thousand times a day. haha! he has the strongest little baby grip and doesn't know how to let go. so most of the time my hair just gets ripped out! Ouch!

-He still loves to talk and talk and talk. He has a lot to say!

-He loves blankets!! he loves to pull them up to his face and snuggle them.

-He now wears 6 month old clothes! He has grown out of all of his 3 month old pj's :( Sad! He is getting so big

-He laughs a lot now!

-He has really tickelish toes!

-He has the cutest little expression most of the time. We call it the Leo face! He just looks so serious! He might crack a little smile but he mostly just looks grumpy! haha!

-I love you leo baby!! I love to see you grown and learn new things each day!

Witches Night Out Party!!!

My mom's best Friend Lisa always has a huge Witches party every year. It's for girls only. It is seriously such a fun party! Everyone dresses up, i think thats why it is so much fun! I love going and seeing everyones costumes and witch hats! We had dinner, entertainment, and Lots and lots of dancing. Lisa does such an amazing job. She has everything decorated and everything is so detailed. I love seeing how she decortates every year

Ari came down and we got all ready to go to the party. It was fun spending the night with my sister and my mom. It's not something that we get to do to often. They looked so cute in their costumes! Lisa, Danielle, and Heather looked great too! We all had such a blast! Can't wait for next years:)

Disneyland!!

We just got home from Disneyland a few days ago. We had such a fun trip. Rhett's mom and dad took all of us on a family vacation as an early Christmas present. We all had a blast! It was so much fun spending time as a whole family. Rhett's in school a lot so it was nice getting to spend extra time with him.

We went to Disneyland and California Adventure for a few days. I love how the park was decorated for Halloween. Disney does such an amazing job at all the little details. I swear doesn't everything look and taste better at Disneyland? I seriously think they have the best treats in the world. (Churros...yummmm) We got to go on all of the fun rides. The lines really weren't too bad for the most part.

Mason is at such a fun age and i think he had the best time out of anyone:) We would go on the big thunder rollercoster and he would yell "put your hands up guys, wahoo" he is so dang cute! When we were on the shuttle going back home he was still saying that "put your hand up, yay"! haha! He went on almost every ride there. It made me laugh because he was going on the tower of terror, and a lot of the big rides and the only one that scared him was a bugs life. lol! He is such a brave little guy.

Our hotel was right across the street from the park so we could walk back anytime. It was so great. We would play for a few hours and then go back and take a nap. Except Matt and Mason who were there from open to close everyday:)

On Friday we went to Dodger Stadium and watched the Dodger play the Phillies. They won the game that we went to! It was so fun! The fans were going crazy! Rhett bought Leo some Dodgers onesies and all the guys we were sitting by were so excited we had our baby dressed up! haha! Aunt Sarah took some great picutres because i forgot my camera in the car ( i will have to post those later) It was a great day. traffic going back to the hotel was the only down side (you gotta love traffic in LA)

Leo is still pretty little but he had fun riding around in the stroller looking at everything. I love all the pictures of him. He has the funniest expressions (he just looks grumpy most of the time) haha! I sure do love him.

The trip was so much fun and i'm so happy that we got to all go. We had such a great time! Thank you Rick and Brenda for the early Christmas present!

Wow, i can't believe my baby is now 3 months old. We love this little one so much! Here are some things that Leo is doing at 3 months:

-He can almost roll over. ( he tries so hard but hasn't quite mastered it yet)

-He smiles so much ( It makes me smile when he give me that big open mouth smile)

-He is such a momma's boy right now. I'm not going to lie, i secretly love that i'm the one he prefers. I know it's proabaly just a stage...so i'm going to take advantage of it :)

-He LOVES to talk and talk and talk. He seriously makes the cutest little noises.

-He is such a morning person. He loves to wake up as soon as the sun shines through his window. I can hear him just talking and cooing to himself laying in his crib. We usually bring him in to bed with us once he is awake. He will lay there and talk to Rhett and I. We love it! He is too cute!

-He can giggle ( he has only done this a couple of times, but it makes me laugh so hard)

-He LOVES the tub! he use to hate it, but now it's his favorite time of the day :)

-He LOVES his swing!! It is his favorite place to be.

-He LOVES his daddy! His face lights up when he sees Rhett. ( i'm still the favorite at the moment, but Rhett is a close second) haha

-He has the most beautiful blue eyes :)

Mason's birthday is tomorrow! He will tell you that he is turning 6...haha! We all know that he is going to be 3 but it's funny how he thinks he is so much bigger :) We were over at the Rhett's parents the other day and Mason found my camera, i thought it would be funny to post the pictures he took of himself, haha! We just LOVE Mason! Our family would be so boring without him :) He is always making us laugh!
He was sitting on the couch the other day and Rhett asked him if he wanted to hold baby leo. He said he did so we put leo on his lap. I could tell by the look on his face that Leo was heavier than he was thinking. I said " Mason do you want me to take Leo, is he too big"? He said "No, he little". I had to laugh so hard because 4 seconds later he looked at me and said " He big, take him, take him"! LOL!! I think one day Mas and Leo are going to be the best little buddies! Happy Birthday Mason!! We sure do love you :) ( I had to put in the chocolate mustache picture, it was to funy not to)

We love the NFL at our house! We love it when fall comes and football starts! Of course we had to get Leo his first Eagles jersey...haha! I really like this picture of my cute boys watching the game. Leo looks like he has no idea what to think...haha :) I'm sure there will be many more to come! I really hope they do well this year, maybe we'll even be able to go to another game soon! Rhett even bought Leo a little Eagles sweat suit...lol! It's a little big but i'm sure it will fit in a few months!

I love these girls!! A few weeks ago we had such a fun girls night. I went with my friends Jessica L. Jessica H. and Kim. We went to dinner and then went to the Brad Paisley concert at the Usana Theater.It was such a blast!!! I seriously had the greatest time. I love girls nights :) It was funny because when we were going in they made Jessica take her camera back to her car because it was considered a professional camera. So Kim and Jess made the long way back to the car. Jessica and I went in to find a spot on the grass to sit. A few minutes later Jessica and Kim called us and told us to come back out to the front. We went out to meet and them and it turns out the guy that made them take the camera back to the car gave all of us seat tickets! We had AWESOME seats! It was such a fun night! We have to do it again girls, really soon! I loved seeing you guys :)

Blessing Day

Leo was blessed this last Sunday. It was such a great day! Rhett did an awesome job on the blessing. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and such a great family. I thought it was so cool that Leo not only had his grandparents there but also some of his great grandparents too. Thank you everyone for coming. We love and appreciate all you do for us! After the blessing we went to the park by our house for some breakfast. The weather turned out nice. I was a little worried because it had been so rainy a few days before. Leo looked so cute. It's a good thing we blessed him when we did because if we had waited any longer i don't think he would have fit in his cute outfit anymore. haha ( I just love the picture of my dad holding Leo its so sweet, i think i can see a little of my side in him)!

Leo's New Friend

Rhett's best friend Brady and his girlfriend Nikki came to visit us from St. George. They have the cutest little guy named Tristan. He is a few weeks older than Leo. We decided that we should introduce them now so they can be good friends. Leo loved the idea at first but then i'm not so sure. We had a fun night with them and went to dinner. We will have to do it more often.

My sweet baby had to have shots Monday. He had his first set of immunizations. I felt so sad because he was being so happy. He was smiling and cooing, the poor little guy had no idea what was coming. The nurse did such a great job. She was really quick. He cryed and screamed for a few minutes and then he was alright. I had Rhett come with me to have them done. I think i'm more of a baby than anyone. Oh boy...and to think he only has a bunch more to go. I hate to see him cry. He now weighs just over 12lb ( I know he's a chunker) I just love it. I go crazy over those little fat rolls!! I think he is the cutest thing ever! Chubby babies are the best!In my opinion if they are not chubby they are not being fed right...haha! He is also almost 23 in. long! The doctor said we have a very healthy baby boy!

I have the best job ever! I love where i work. I told my boss that i was having a really hard time leaving my baby and he said that they didn't want to lose me so they would work something out. I'm now only working part time so that i can stay home with my little boy more! I absolutely love it!! Being a mom is my #1 job. I just feel so blessed. I was so worried that nothing would work out. It just goes to show that Heavenly father hears us and answers prayers :) I love seeing my little Leo more and i know he loves it too. He is sure a momma's boy!

Have I ever mentioned how much i absolutely love this little boy!! I swear he has to be one of the cutest!! I just love his chubby little cheeks and legs, they crack me up. I love that he knows who i am and all i have to do is walk in the room and he gives me the biggest smile. He is growing so fast i cant believe it. Where does time go? I wish i could make it stop. He is now almost 2 months old. I really am loving every minute of being a mom. It's challenging at times and very tiring as well but i cant ever imagine my life without my little Leo baby. Rhett just loves him too! I started going back to work this week and it has been the hardest thing EVER! I really didn't imagine it being this hard. I know he is in great hands but i still think about him all day long. I'm hopefully going to work something out soon that will allow me to stay home with him more. It's hard for Rhett and I to be away from him :) I want to start taking a picture of him once a week and posting it so that i can see how much he changes. I can't believe my baby is 5 weeks old already. He just keeps growing and growing. He is so cute, i just love him to death. As you can see he LOVES to eat! LOL! He has the chubbiest little cheeks, i love to just kiss em and kiss em. He looks so much like Rhett as a baby. Chubby cheeks and no hair..haha! He has the blondest eyelashes and eyebrows and i can see that his hair that is coming in is super blonde too. He is going to be such a little blondie! He smiles so cute and laughs in his sleep, Rhett and i listen to him and it makes us start to laugh too. He is now starting to make cooing sounds a lot. He is a pretty good sleeper and only really wakes up to eat. ( about every 3 hours) i'm crossing my fingers that will get a little better soon. We love him so much. I now understand when people say how much work they are, but i'm loving it!

Labor Story

I had my sweet little Leo baby on the 4th of July. I had a feeling he was going to come a little early because i had already been to labor and delivery a few times with false labor. I felt stupid because it was the same thing each time i went. The nurse would say "sorry, i don't think you're going to have this baby today" I was having contractions but wasn't dilating past a 2. On Friday night July 3rd Rhett and I decided to have a fun date night since we knew it could be the last one for a little while. We went to dinner and a movie and had a lot of fun. Early Saturday morning around 4:00am i started having really bad contractions. I knew they had to be the real thing but i doubted myself because i really didn't want to go to labor and delivery again just to be told the same thing and sent home. Well around 5 i woke Rhett up and told him that i thought we needed to time them. They were coming about every 6 minutes and lasting about a minute or longer. We hurried and got our stuff and headed to the hospital in Provo (about a 30 minute drive) When we arrived there was a police officer waiting at the hospital entrance to make sure we weren't going to just be parking there just for the parade that morning. After he saw that we really were there to go to the hospital and not the parade we were allowed to park, haha. We were there a couple of hours while they monitored me to see if i would dilate anymore. Sure enough i was at a 3 but wasn't dilating. I was in a lot of pain and was so worried they were going to send me home. After they called my doctor he said "Lets get that baby delivered" I was so excited. I guess my blood pressure was really high and they didn't want it to go any higher so they decided to induce me. They started me on potocin and the doctor on call came in and broke my water. After they broke my water i was in the most pain i have ever felt in my entire life, seriously i thought possibly i was going to die (okay a little dramatic, but it really hurt) they hurried and got me my epidural and i was a happy girl. After it started working i had hope that maybe it was going to be a good experience after all. Everything happened so fast, all within an hour i had potocin, broke my water, and had my epidural. That was around 9:00am. Around 12:30 i was told that i was at a 10 and that Dr. Nance would be there soon and i would start pushing. Dr. Nance arrived around 12:45ish and my sweet baby boy was born at 1:01 pm. I had a really awesome labor. I pushed for maybe 10 minutes and he was here. I will never forget what an amazing experience it was. It was one of the best days of my life. Hearing that little cry for the first time still makes me tear up thinking about it. I loved my Doctor and my delivery nurse. Rhett and i are so greatful he is here and is a healthy little boy. Here are a couple of pictures. My sweet baby just a few minutes old. The one of me is right after i delivered so its a little scary...:)

4th of July Baby!!

We had our beautiful Baby boy on July 4th. He was 6lb 12 oz and 19 in. long. We named him Leo Rhett Mason. I can't believe how much love you can have for someone. Rhett and and I couldn't be happier. He looks so much like a Mason. He looks like his daddy thats for sure. I will post some more pictures and his delivery story soon. I just wanted to let everyone know he is here and is healthy and we love him so much.

Oh the final days of pregnancy are awesome, not! My poor ankels are so swollen by the end of the day that i seriously have cankels. I had my Dr. appointment last week and i was 75% effaced and at a 1, so were getting closer. I've decided that i'm now ready to try anything to get my little guy out....any ideas??? I've tried a few things but haven't been successful.I know it will be soon i just need to be patient (something i've never really been that great at) I'm getting so excited!

This weekend i had such a fun baby shower! My friend Jessica through it for me. Thank you sooo much Jess it turned out so good and you did such an amazing job putting it all together. I love you so much and appreciate all the work you did for it. She seriously bought the cutest decorations and check out that diaper cake. That was the cutest diaper cake i have EVER seen.It was so much fun hanging out all afternoon eating yummy treats. A huge thank you to all my sweet friends who came. It was so much fun to see all of you and get to catch up. I know it was a kind of a long drive for some of you and it really meant a lot to me to have you come up:) Here are pictures of some of the cute things i got: diapers and wipes (thank you thank you..i know those will be used) a cute blanket, some binkis, toys, a couple way cute outfits (i can't wait for him to wear them) Thanks for all of the gifts everyone! So I thought it would be fun to go and do a 3D ultrasound. I wanted to see what features our little boy might have. I have to say i think we have a cute little guy on the way.I know he will probably look different when he is born, because he still has some growing to do. Rhett and I went on Wednesday and it was so much fun. I love any chance i get to see my little one. He definately has MY nose...haha! Rhett was a little upset because he looks more like me than him..haha,jk. It will be fun to see him when he's born and see how close the pictures are to what he really looks like :)Look at those chubby checks and that cute nose and lips. I just wanna kiss him!!

Here are some really amazing pictures that i took of my ever growing tummy! haha! Okay, so they are not good at all. I'm going to be having my amazing sister in law take some maternity pictures of me in a few weeks. So i'll finally have some good ones to post, promise. lol! This will give you a little idea of how big i'm getting :)

Rhett and I went to the Dr yesterday and everything is going great! He is measuring exactly where he should. I found out that he is head down and should stay that way until he makes his grand entrance, but that explains why my lower back has been hurting lately. I love Dr. Nance he has been such a great doctor from the very start. He let Rhett feel where his head is at and where his bum is right now. He weighs right around 2 1\2 pounds ( so he still has some cookin to do, but were getting closer)!

Were both getting so excited!! We keep saying to each other "Is'nt it weird that in about 11-12 weeks were going to have a baby" It's crazy how fast the time has gone by. It seems like i just found out not to long ago and now i'm in my last trimester.
I'm almost 99.9% sure he is going to be all Mason and look just like Rhett, but i guess we'll have to see.

We almost have his room all done. It turned out Sooo Cute!! I love it! I will post some pictures soon. Rhett and i have been working on it now for a few weeks. We keep doing little things here and there but it's all coming together :) well thats about it for now, but i will keep everyone updated!

20 week ultrasound

I thought i would give a little update. Today we went in for our 20 week ultrasound. I will have to scan some pictures and post them. It's amazing how much babies grow from 15 weeks to 20 weeks. He is definately a BOY there is no mistaking it and he wasnt shy about making sure we knew :) I think he wanted us to know for sure so we didn't buy him anything pink by accident. haha! Also i'm measuring a week earlier than my previous due date. So now instead of being due on July 15th my new due date is the 9th, but i was told not to count on it because babies come when ever they decide to :) So i guess well have to wait and see! We are so excited! Seriously i cant wait, im already so in love with him!! I've decided that little boy names are alot harder to think of than girls. I really like different names so if anyone has any cute ones in mind please let me know...i need help! :) Also, i promise i will get some belly pics posted. I really want to do it so that i can keep track of how much im growing too! So i'm definately going to have Rhett take some, so it will be soon! Sorry my blog has now turned into the baby blog, that seems to be the only thing i write about lately...lol! Everything is going really good at our house other than baby. Rhett is still busy working and going to school at nights for his masters and i'm busy working too. Were kinda boring, sorry :) haha

A BABY BOY!!!

So Rhett and I were to excited to wait so we went and had an early ultrasound. I'm 16 weeks, but i have my 20 week ultrasound coming up on Feb. 24th. I couldn't wait and just had to find out, it was killing me haha! We are going to be blessed with a sweet baby boy! I think it caught Rhett and our families off guard a little, they were completely sure i was having a girl. I always thought it was a boy, right from the start. I just had a feeling about it ( maybe a motherly instinct) haha! Well from the ultrasound everything is good, he is a very healthy little boy, which is all i could ask for. I asked the doctor "So how sure are you that he is a boy"? He said he is 200% sure...haha! I'm so excited i can hardly stand it. How is it that you can love someone so much you havent even met yet?? Here are a couple of pictures from the ultrasound. He is always sucking his thumb or has his fingers in his mouth (sooo cute)! I will post some more pictures when i get my 20 week ultrasound done. Baby Update

So we had our 2nd doctors appointment last Tuesday. Everything is going great. We got to hear the heartbeat. WOW...that was the most amazing thing ever! I think it is so hard during your first trimester because all you can do is pray everything is going the way it should, but as soon as you hear the heartbeat is makes some of those worries go away a little. Dr. Nance said now that we have heard the heartbeat it reassures him that everything is on track. We are due July 15th. I'm 13 weeks along this week and get to find out what im having at 20 weeks...so i still have some time before i can know for sure. Almost everyone in my family thinks im having a girl. I kinda have the feeling that its a little boy. So i cant wait to find out! We will be excited with whatever we get :) he or she is going to be so spoiled! My baby already had Christmas gifts under the tree this year! Our baby got a little baby einstein toy..Rhett said "Thanks for the gift but our kid is going to be way to smart to play with that" haha!! I love my husband, theres never a dull moment! I will have to post a picuture because i definately have a baby bump now. I kind of feel like im in a weird stage where i dont look pregnant yet i just look like i really enjoyed all my christmas treats a little too much. I'm not liking it very much. lol! Did all of you go through that feeling too? When did you really start to show...look actually pregnant? I would love to know :)

Christmas Time

So I think i am pretty much the worst blogger ever. I haven't been the best at updating everyone. So I promise im going to do better :) Well Rhett and I had a wonderful Christmas. We hope everyone else did as well. This year for Christmas i planned way ahead this year in buying Rhett's gift. He is a HUGE Philadelphia Eagels fan. So back in August i bought him Eagles vs Cowboys tickets in Philadelphia. I got the plane tickets, game tickets, and the hotel all ready. I was so excited to give it to him. I'm really not good at keeping secrets so it was really really hard for me. It was the best to see his face on Christmas morning. All that waiting was so worth it, he was SOOO excited! We ended up flying out the day after Christmas and spent a few days in Philly. We went to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and went and saw the first printed copy of the constitution. On our way back to our hotel we saw a man with the worst Tupai (hair piece) we have ever seen. Rhett thought it was hillarous and had to take his picture! Right as Rhett was taking one of the pictures he turned around...so of course we RAN. haha!! It was so fun! I hope you get a kick out of the pictures. lol! On Sunday before the game we went to a little local place called Genos to get a REAL Philly cheesesteak. They were yummy! (just to warn you all...if you want the real experience they put cheese wiz on your sandwich) haha! I know it sounds discusting but it was really yummy, take my word for it :) We went and did some tail gating before the game. It was so fun. Everyone sat out in the parking lots with their big screen TVs. They were all playing football and had a big BBQ. I wish i could have gone to every game. It was a blast! The game was SOOO fun! I'm sorry to any of you who may be Cowboys fans ( they played Terrible) I think we fit right in with all the crazy fans!! The Eagles Won and are going to the playoffs! Everyone was screaming and going nuts after the game! It was such a fun day! I loved being there with my crazy eagles fan husband!! It made it so much better! Christmas this year was great as always! ***Sorry everyone i thought the pictures would have come out bigger. You will just have to take my word on the hair piece pictures...they are so funny! It looks aweful!!

It's a GIRL! My brother in law Burke and his wife Jane had this little angel last night at 10:30pm. Jane went into the hospital the day before at 9:00am. She had a really long and tough labor. We are all so excited and are so happy that she is healthy and that she finally made her grand entrance. She is so beautiful! She looks just like her mom. She has alot of black hair. Holding her last night brought tears to my eyes. I'm so excited to get to be a mom this year. I cant wait to have a new little one of my own. There is nothing more special than a new baby. They are the closest thing to heaven. Congrats Burke and Jane!

Rhett and I just found out that we are going to be having a new little baby join our family in July! We are really excited! I'm almost 6 weeks along and have my 8 week appointment on December 2nd. I know its still kind of early, but i really cant wait. I just pray we have a healthy little baby.

When i found out i bought a onesie (not sure if thats how it is spelled) and wrapped it up with my positive pregnancy test. On it i wrote "Someone special, someone dear, someone new to love will soon be here." When rhett opened up his gift he just stood there with a shocked look on his face for about 20 minutes. he kept saying "really" really are you sure" haha! I think it took him a couple of days for it to sink in and im still not sure if it has all the way yet. I keep feeling like its not really a reality yet either, but im sure it will soon enough.

I just feel so incredibly blessed right now. I have the best husband in the world and now get to be a mom. I feel like Heavenly Father wanted to give me an early Christmas present this year. It's the best gift i have ever received! I'm sure i will be asking alot of you tons of questions so be ready..lol!

Tomorrow Rhett and I celebrate our 3 year anniversary! Once again where does the time go?? I know i probably wont post anything tomorrow so i wanted to do it early :) I just wanted to take a second to tell everyone that i honestly think i have the greatest husband ever. Rhett is so much fun to be married to (there is never a dull moment)! He can always make me laugh and he is such a hard worker. He is going to school at night to get his masters degree and he works full time during the day. I appreciate him so much and everything he does for me. We we talking the other day about how perfect we are for each other and i seriously think thats the truth. I thank my heavenly father every day for giving me such a wonderful husband who i love so much. I just feel so blessed. I have the best family ever and the day i married Rhett i got a new family who i love just as much and they are so much fun to be with. Thank you so much Rhett for asking me to marry you. Today is our little nephew Mason's birthday! Wow, i can't believe how fast the time goes by (I'm sure Sarah and Matt are thinking the same thing right now) It seems like just yesterday we were holding him in the hospital. He is such a miracle baby and we couldn't love him more. Rhett and Mason are seriously the best of friends. They are always running around together and making each other laugh, its the cutest thing. Rhett always says "I swear he has to be the coolest little boy ever" haha. Mason we love you SOOOO much! Happy 2nd Birthday you crazy little monkey!

What a sad little plant

I had to post this because i thought it was pretty funny (sorry hun). So Rhett came home from his works convention a little while ago and brought home two house plants. When i woke up and saw them i was a little suprised because i had no idea where we were going to put them. We'll Rhett found a place by our front door and it was doing really good, but everytime we watered it we would end up with water and dirt all over the floor. After a few times of this happening we decided that we needed to do something different with the plant. For all of you that know me i am probably the worst person ever to take care of plants, they always die. Rhett on the other hand is pretty good at it, he usually saves mine. So i was thinking of just getting rid of it, i didn't want to have to take care of it and that seemed like the easy solution. Well Rhett decided that he was going to take our sad little HOUSE plant and find a place for it in our back yard. So he went out, dug a hole and placed the plant in it. I told him "Sweetheart you do know that this is a HOUSE plant and its probably going to die outside". Well he's been watering it and checking on it and when i went out the other day this is what is looked like. I thought i would share this because i'll i could do is laugh. My friend Jessica came over last night and we just laughed, she said you should take a picture and post it. (so this ones for you Jess) :) It was a very good attempt, maybe our other one will do better! So if anyone is ever thinking of giving us a plant just remember it probably wont live very long at the Mason house.

So last night we got together with Rhetts family at our house. We played killer bunnies, which is always a good time. I just like to play to see how intense it always gets haha! We made dinner and just had fun hanging out. Sarah i'm stealing the pictures you took, thanks for taking some :) Here are a couple pictures from the night! Thanks for coming over you guys, its always fun when we can get together!

Labor Day!!!

I know. I know. I really need to get some pictures up. I'm working on it, promise. I always forget to bring my camera with me. Even though i dont have any pictures i thought i would update everyone. This weekend we went up to Jordanelle with the Mason/Ward family. It was so much fun! We stayed up most of the night playing games, swimming, and laughing so much. We played a game called killer bunnies (it was hillarious)! I love spending time with Rhett's family, they are a blast to be around! Saturday morning we got up and went boating. We were all a little bummed when the weather was cold and the water was really choppy. We stayed out for a while but decided to go shopping in Park City instead.

Rhett and I went shopping all day yesterday for furniture for our house. We found some really cute stuff. We had a really great day and got along so well until about 12:30 when we were trying to put the chairs together for our kitchen table. I've decided that Rhett and I definately need to be in bed around 9 or 10 to keep the peace...haha! I'll take some pictures of our house and post them soon!

I can't belive summer is almost over, it goes by so fast :( but what a great weekend to end it with!!

Hey Everyone,
Most of you we haven't seen or talked to for a while. Here is a little update on whats going on with the Mason's. Rhett and I have been married for almost 3 years now! Wow! it went by fast. Our anniversary will be on October 8th. We just bought our first new home in Herriman. So far we love it! Rhett is getting ready to start school next week. He is going to the UofU to get his masters degree. He's such a smart guy, i'm so proud of him! At this moment we don't have any kids but i'm hoping that changes really soon. Looking at everyones blogs with their cute kids is making me just a little baby hungry. haha! Our life has been so blessed! Someone once said the only thing constant in life is change....boy is that true. We have had alot of changes this past month or so, but we couldn't be happier! I'm still learning how to do this, so i promise i will post some picture soon!
